How to Port Your Number to Sure
To begin the transfer, please visit us at our Store in Strand Street. Our team will get you set up with a new Sure SIM and guide you through the next steps.
Important Note: You must be signed up as a Sure customer before you can initiate the porting process. Once you have your new Sure SIM, it’s as simple as sending a text message—our team will show you how.
What to Bring With You
If you are currently on a Pay Monthly plan with your existing supplier, please bring your latest bill from them.
This is required to verify that you are the registered owner of the number, ensuring your account is protected against unauthorised transfers.
How Long Does it Take?
Pay As You Go (PAYG): The porting process takes approximately five minutes.
Pay Monthly: This process takes slightly longer as we must verify with your current provider that there are no outstanding debts on your account.
Regardless of your plan type, once your port request is submitted, your number will typically be fully active on the Sure network within two working days, depending on the time of day the request is made.
